I do not know. Period.
Is S/He real? The philosophers doubt S/he is real. The theologians are convinced that God is there. S/he is the Atman, the very Self, the destroyer of Maya, the Creator of everything, the unmoved Mover. The Saints say S/he IS.
I know that the world is filled with joy and love. Tough at times to believe that. But I know that love endures. And to smile at another person is often the most we can do to remind others and ourselves that things will work out fine. Just fine in the end. Folks in great trouble are sometimes the happiest people on earth. They feel challenged and because of their problems, perked up. They are broken people but they are happy people.
