Non-indulgence in frivolity, self control, not disclosing the secrets of others, not lacking in good manners, not exhibiting bad manners, not being greedy, not getting angry and truthfulness — these eight are the traits of a person competent for learning.

I like the bit about keeping a secret making a good person. How human nature has remained the same over the centuries. Amazing!
